Aarya is a voting ambassador for Hawk The Vote and uses she/her pronouns. She is majoring in Economics and Political Science originally from Bettendorf, Iowa. Aarya recognizes the importance of voting and getting involved in public policy in shaping the future of our community and our country. She hopes to get more people educated about voting and encourage them to participate in upcoming elections. Aarya is an also active part of multiple Tippie organizations, works with the Women's Resource and Action Center (WRAC), and is a Resident Assistant (RA) for this academic school year. In addition to her academic endeavors, she loves playing tennis, reading, photography, and writing movie reviews on Letterboxd.
