My name is Anastasia, and I’m from Iowa City. As a voting ambassador, my goal is to educate communities about how the voting system works here in Iowa City. I’m passionate about encouraging more young people to get involved in our local elections and exploring ways we, as Iowans, can improve voter engagement in local politics. Outside of school, I have a deep love for staying active. Running is one of my favorite pastimes, and I often go for long walks to enjoy the natural beauty of the outdoors. I also value the time I spend with my family, especially my brothers and sisters; whether through outdoor activities or quality family time, I’m always looking for ways to stay connected to the people and places that matter most to me.
