Lily Severson (she/her) is a first-year sophomore from Urbandale/Waukee, IA, pursuing a double major in Economics and Political Science with a pre-law focus. In tandem with Hawk the Vote, Lily is a senator in the Undergraduate Student Government. She is deeply passionate about civic engagement and is committed to educating her peers on the importance of voting, striving to create a more informed and active electorate. Lily is also actively involved with Iowa’s A. Craig Baird Debate Forum. Outside of her academic and civic commitments, Lily enjoys spending time with friends, hiking, and exploring all that Iowa City and the University has to offer.
